Le Bleu Heure - Antananrivo

Strange cloud and sunlight reflection
at sunset
as we entered Antananarivo
on the way back from
Ranomafana National Park!
Nice end to a stressful 12 hour journey!

Twilight Harbor Sky - Maroantsetra - My favorite place to visit so far!

Twilight Sky
Maroantsetra Harbor
Breathtaking skies at any time of the day!
Perhaps Madagascar's least developed coastal region
My favorite place so far!

Moon rise Mada sky
The air is so clean that the moon just pops out at you!
Looks unreal
But it isn't!

Rice field sky - Madgascar south central highlands

Beautiful Madagascar rice field and clear sky!
Madagascar has the worlds highest per capita
rice consumption!
But its can't grow enough rice to feed itself!
The current population is 20 million, half of which is under 20 yrs old
The population will double in 20 years.
This idyllic scene shows land that has been deforested for rice cultivation  and
firewood harvesting
It is on the border
of the protected tropical forest, wildlife and lemur haven called
Ranaomafana  National Park

Early Morning Tana city sky

Love that mottled cloud look!
Kinda makes me feel hopeful for the day
Autumn approaches Madagascar
Mornings and nights are noticeably cooler
Mada skies always a lovely cinema!

Hello Skies

The sky
With us all the time but often unnoticed
This blog captures the daily sky that shapes my day!
